Yesterday, I started with the Patch analysis for the Dota 2 Patch 6.80. This is the second part which talks about the rest of the other heroes in scope as well as items.

So the new Dota 2 patch 6.80 is out and I thought I’d talk about it a little. Patches come and go but it’s not every day that you see something as big as this. As more and more people play the game, the team is able to get more feedback and data to determine how to balance it. With over 100+ heroes in the game and increasing, this is not an easy task. So here goes the patch analysis.

UPDATE: Part 2 here
Dota 2 fans rejoice! It was a long wait but he's finally here: The master of disaster. The reflecting ronin. The metamorphosizing monster. The sundering son of the devil. Whatever you may know him as. Probably none from what I mentioned since I just made all of them up.
I’ve been pretty bummed out ever since Capcom decided to move the Monster Hunter series to Ninty platforms. So I have since just stuck with the older games in the series. There’s always that Monster hunting itch that I could never properly scratch though since the older games’ graphics were already dated. I tried other alternatives like Soul Sacrifice but it just never got satisfied. Until now. From the guys who brought us Dynasty Warriors comes Toukiden: Age of Demons. Something that jut might fill that need.
Where are all the dinosaurs? What’s been lacking in the world of entertainment are dinosaurs! We recently got Pacific Rim, which was an awesome gift sent from the heavens. We desperately need more T-rexes and Velociraptors tearing at each other. Thankfully, indie developer Lukewarm Media has graced us with Primal Carnage. While zombies and vampires are all the rage right now, I will always prefer dinosaurs any day.
Bad-Words-Jason-Bateman-1 Jason Bateman is a funny guy and he’s back for more in his upcoming movie, Bad Words. This time though, he’s the one directing. So this should be mighty good stuff.

With the rise of Youtube videos, it’s quite challenging to stand out unless you’re doing something insane like jumping off roofs to hurt yourself. Well, this group called Pentatonix really stood out for me. They’re a group of 5 a capella singers. I stumbled upon them by accident while looking at my feeds and now I’m hooked. All of their covers I like, but I put here my top 2 videos only.

It’s January and that means that it’s the time for CES (Consumer Electronics Show) wherein major hardware manufacturers show off their latest tech they’re not ready to sell yet. There were some very nice announcements this year. But one that kind of stood out was this video.

Last month I started on the great Devastator project and since I had a lot of time during the holidays. I was able to progress a little bit.

One of the first big movies for 2014 is out in the Philippines. I just got back from watching the premiere of 47 Ronin at SM Megamall. I had been anticipating the release of this movie here in the Philippines for quite some time since there was nothing else of the same genre to watch during the holidays. I wrote about a preview based on what I saw in the movie trailers and after watching, this is what I thought.
Uload is an awesome product. It’s an automated vending machine where you can purchase electronic load any time of the day. This includes cellphone load from all major providers as well as for online games. If you still don’t know what this is all about then you might want to watch the videos below. These were made for the Advercom competition.

My liking of the anime show One Piece is not a secret. I started watching the show early this year and I'm at 600+ now. So the natural progression is to get into the merchandise. And when I say merchandise, I really mean toys that will decorate my room. I already have quite a few which I wrote about here and here. During my sister's recent trip, she got me this 3d puzzle of the crew's doctor, Tony Tony Chopper. So here’s me putting it together. Or trying to.
